Position Summary
The Clinical Nurse Liaison will work with various departments to evaluate nurses for clinical job match and assignment success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical and professional assessments of nurses to determine best options for a successful placement
- Develop and administer training programs to develop and remediate nurses as well as for internal employees to improve quality of hire
- Review and approve submission packages for domestic and international nurses to ensure experience and knowledge is accurate and complete
- Develop working knowledge of educational institutions and clinical facilities affiliated with international nurses to better understand the strengths and weaknesses of nurses
- Conduct regular assessments of nurses to assist with future placement, enhance retention, and aid professional development
- Provide clinical support for all Joint Commission related activities and overall quality initiatives
- Conduct analyses of reports, data, and assessments to determine conclusions and propose reasonable solutions
Required Education, Experience, and Abilities
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
- Acute care experience required
- Experience as a nurse educator or preceptor strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of hospital policies and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
