Job Summary:

MedPro is seeking a Contracts Assistant to support the Senior Contracts Administrator to ensure efficient, effective, and compliant performance throughout the entire contract lifecycle.  The primary responsibility will be to establish, evaluate, and maintain contracts, preserving the integrity of client/contract relationships. Our mission is to support revenue generation through the timely creation and maintenance of contractual relationships that meet company standards.

This role will also assist the Corporate Counsel as needed.

Job Tasks:

· Coordinate, organize, and administer all phases of contract management;

·         Prepare and negotiate MedPro contracts and amendments based on the needs of all parties;

·         Review client-form contracts and amendments to ensure compliance with Joint Commission and MedPro standards;

·         Interpret and understand standard legal provisions in contracts;

· Ensure general compliance with regulations and procedures as required by corporate policy and by law;

·         Assist with the redlining of contracts during contract negotiations;

·         Support management review of proposals/contracts/negotiations;

· Identify and escalate any contract related concerns to appropriate contract management;

·         Help facilitate contract execution between all parties and distribute fully executed and supplemental documents to Clients;

·         Update and maintain account information and contracting relationships to ensure accuracy;

·         Prepare and disseminate information as appropriate regarding contract status  and communicate and route all relevant contractual obligations to relevant internal departments;

·         Update and maintain database for all new client contracts and changes to existing contracts;

·         Track expiring contracts and work with Clients to obtain renewals in a timely manner;

·         Distribute, file, and upload information received from Clients either directly or through a VMS system, as they relate to pricing, credentials, facility updates, etc. And relay all relevant information to internal departments as needed;

·         Learn and possess a working knowledge of immigration practices;

·         Assist the International department by providing contractual relationships of contracts for filing of Green Cards and H1B Visas;

·         Research existing contract terms and relay information to relevant internal parties as needed or requested;

·         Research VMS systems for details on job requisitions to include facility relationships, billing terms, etc.;

· Evaluate insurance requirements for contracts, request and provide Certificates of Insurance as per the needs;

·         Obtain and distribute insurance certificates as required on an annual basis;

·         Conduct OIG Checks for new contracts and review monthly audit list for any potential hits;

·         Evaluate RFP proposals, determine ability to participate, and collaborate with appropriate internal parties to prepare formal responses in a timely manner;

·         Utilize reports, dashboards and views to organize and prioritize activities;

·         Provide general administrative assistance;

·         Support Corporate Counsel by assisting with tasks, as assigned.

Requirements:

·         Knowledge of contract principles and procedures preferred

·         1-3 years of Administrative experience

·         Proficient in Adobe, MS Word (including redlining), MS Excel, Outlook and DocuSign

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills and professional demeanor

·         Possess superior attention to detail

·         Strong analytical and organizational skills

·         Excellent time management abilities

·         Salesforce experience preferred

·         Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work with tight deadlines

· Ability to work independently and manage large workloads

· Extensive reading
