Job Summary:

The Director of Human Resources is responsible for developing and administering policies and practices for employee benefits, compliance with employment laws, employee relations, employment matters, and safety.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • $5000 Sign-on bonus 
  • Base Salary + 20% annual bonus

Job Tasks:
  • Manages and ensures the accurate and timely administrative of employee benefits, including group insurance, workers compensation, leave, and 401k
  • Manages vendor relationships and the periodic review and renewal of benefits contracts
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Recommends changes to policies and practices, including the Employee Handbooks, to incorporate best practices and maintain compliance.
  • Leads activities related to occupational health and safety.
  • Completes reporting for EEOC and other regulatory bodies
  • Coaches managers on disciplinary activities and leads termination process
  • Works with managers on personnel issues and compliance with company policy
  • Works with Corporate Counsel on employment matters, disputes and investigations
  • Oversees the performance evaluation process for internal employees

  • Bachelor’ s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred
  • Minimum of seven years of human resources experience, including three years of management experience
