Job Summary:

The Immigration Program Manager is responsible for overseeing all processes that establish timely work authorization for MedPro International Healthcare Professionals.   



Job Tasks:
  • Oversee the administration of the U.S. Immigration program
  • Act as an expert/advisor for healthcare providers on immigration matters; permanent residence and citizenship support
  • Assist Immigration Specialist as needed to ensure timely filings, especially during peak periods
  • Provide in-depth counsel with analysis of US immigration processes, identification of process and policy gaps drafting of policy and process revisions and assist with the implementation of new or revised programs
  • Independently manage relationships to deliver premium candidate and
  • employee experience. This includes ensuring overall compliance with Department of Labor and Homeland Security.
  • Lead experienced immigration professionals to partner deeply with internal departments
  • Lead or partner on specialized projects with focus on US Immigration policy, performance management and consultation/advising and implementing, maintaining, and reporting on immigration policy matters
  • Ensure that our immigration counsel provides a high-quality experience to candidates, employees, managers, and business stakeholders
  • Role model partnership and collaboration at all levels with internal stakeholders, to deliver our high bar of people experience
  • Lead various internal reviews or audits of immigration data, processes, and policies
  • Expected to take on additional program ownership in the immigration area as team scales to meet company growth needs

Requirements:
  • Bachelor' s degree or equivalent experience in immigration, Human Resources or directly related field
  • 5+ years working in a (technical role within US immigration with industry in-house immigration and mobility program experience or law firm experience)
  • Working knowledge of Green Card (Schedule A and Perm), TN and H-1B processes preferred
  • Project management skills across multiple disciplines and stakeholders driving projects from conception to implementation
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Professional level written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills
