Job Summary:
The Instructional Designer is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating learning solutions by applying talent development strategies that are effective and relevant to the business.
Compensation & Benefits:
• $2500 Sign-on Bonus
• Base Salary + 15% annual bonus
• Additional yearly bonus opportunities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Understand the needs of the business and role(s) of the identified target audiences in order to assess learning needs and design training.
• Conduct needs analysis and collaborates with subject matter experts to identify departmental training needs.
• Create instructional material: courses, curriculum, participant/facilitator guides, and training manuals.
• Design content to optimize learning.
• Redesign content to ensure it matches the learner’ s needs.
• Perform maintenance of existing courses to ensure that they are accurate and in line with business needs.
• Analyze reports and other metrics to determine opportunities for course enhancement.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies, tools, techniques, and methodologies in the learning and development area and make recommendations for future consideration
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’ s Degree in education, instructional design, training, and development, or a similar program
• 2 to 3 years experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Articulate Storyline (or a comparable content authoring tool for eLearning development) producing content for a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Experience utilizing the ADDIE method.
• Able to identify gaps in training and development.
• Fundamental understanding of adult learning principles and learning styles.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
